As we witness international channels expand their efforts to censor and distort the realities we know to be true, we extend our platform and open up our home to support the critical work of Filmlab Palestine’s “Palestine Cinema Days” Festival taking place across the globe on November 2, 2023; the sobering anniversary of the Balfour Declaration.
Media and storytelling play a vital role in building bridges to better understand our shared histories. In order to stand firm in our solidarity it is important that we educate ourselves which is why we're partnering with Mezcla Media Collective to host an intimate screening of Stitching Palestine (2017) by Carol Mansour.

Twelve resilient, determined and articulate women from disparate walks of life: lawyers, artists, housewives, activists, architects, and politicians stitch together the story of their homeland, of their dispossession, and of their unwavering determination that justice will prevail.
Through their stories, the individual weaves into the collective, yet remaining distinctly personal. Twelve women, twelve life-spans and stories from Palestine; a land whose position was fixed on the map of the world, but is now embroidered on its face.
